Farewell to the Seiters

We will miss the Seiters as they leave for their home in Arizona. They have blessed this mission twice now more than words can say. Au revoir mes amis!

Dear President and Sister Headlee,
We were so surprised and excited to have a blog post from you pop up on our "Dashboard" today. We had been following your adventures and then had no blog "reminders" until today- we know that you are super busy and fully engaged in the work of the Lord 24/7. You look great!! Obviously, mission life is enhancing everything about you- you have the Mission President and Mission Mom "glow!" (Alma 5!) We have just returned from our first trip back to the Hill Cumorah Historic Sites. We went with our son who just graduated with his Doctorate in Vocal Performance (U of Michigan) and our daughter, her husband, and her family- 4 children, ages 14, 12, 9, and 6. It was a wonderful, spritual experience for us. We saw the last night of Pageant and spent two days in Palmyra. We stayed the first night with Sister Gardner in Naples and went to the Canandaigua Ward on Sunday. It was so good to see our wonderful friends there, although many were not there because they were part of Pageant and having Church at the Hill Cumorah. We missed seeing your mom and dad because they slipped out right after Church. I was sad not to see them.... We look forward to reading more about your experiences. We are amazed at the miracles that are happening there! Being at the Sites was such a strong reminder of how much we loved our mission. For now, we continue to serve as part-time Church Service Missionaries with LDS Family Services. It has been a wonderful, spiritual experience, as well.... Take care. You have always been in our prayers and we will continue to pray for you, your missionaries, and the wonderful people within your mission. With love, David and Jan Tanner
